5.16

For this reason the Jews persecuted Jesus, and sought to kill Him, because He had done these things on the Sabbath.

5.17

But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work.

Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Hebrews 1:3

5.21

For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom He will.

The Son also operates in a position of authority, for it says that He quickens who HE will.

5.22

What a revelation: The Father judgeth no man. I thought the word states that God is the Judge. Psalms 50:6 For God Himself is Judge. But Jesus states all judgment has been committed to Him.

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. 2 Corinthians 5:10

5.25

The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. The dead in sin. Hear: not in one ear and out the other. Not dull hearing like in Hebrews 5:11, but have open ears and hearts to believe

5.26

so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself All attributes the Father has, He has also bestowed on Christ, including specifically, His ability to give life.

5.27

Jesus is the perfect one to execute just and righteous judgment on man because He came into the flesh, was tempted, and “can be touched with the feeling of our infirmities” Hebrews 4:15.

5:39

‌Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The same scriptures that you believe give you eternal life are the same scriptures that testify of Me.

5.45

Here is the mic drop moment: Jesus will not be the one to accuse them before the Father, but Moses, the one they believe they are honoring in their sin, will be the one to accuse them in the end.

In actuality, they aren’t even true believers in Moses, for Moses testified and prophesied of Christ
